3D Flapper Warranty
The Ure-a-Duck Decoy Company is proud to offer a limited warranty on all of its 3D Flapper Decoys. With Proper maintenance and care your motion Decoy should offer many seasons of use. Although strong and durable, common sense should be used while hunting with the decoys. All decoys are warranted for full replacement from date of purchase to work and operate on arrival. You have a 10 days of purchase to return your defective decoy. If you have purchased a decoy that doesn’t operate on arrival send it back to factory with receipt of date of purchase. With in 10 days and a new decoy will be sent to you immediately. The Ure-a-Duck Decoys surfaces are hand painted. Avoid situations that will cause the paint to chip or scratch off. If the decoy becomes unrecognizable from loss of paint, the factory will repaint for a fee of $ 15 plus shipping. The Ure-a-Duck Decoy is weather resistant. Normal hunting conditions of rain, snow, sleet, will not affect the operating system but may affect the wings. So use caution. If used in wet weather, be sure to place decoy in a dry environment as soon as hunt is over. Try to avoid submersion. The Ure-a-Duck Flapper decoy is not warranted against submersion. If dropped in the water take batteries out immediately! Dry the battery compartment and blow water away from the switch and from under the wing in the drive assembly area. Replace the batteries and turn switch back on and run for a minimum of 30 minutes to dry out working parts with friction. The wings are made of a synthetic cloth. Under normal hunting conditions the wings should last for 2-3 seasons. Replacement wings are available for a cost of $12 a pair. When replacing the wing, take the wing out of the joint at the edge of the decoy. Take care not to break the frame. Place super glue gel along the top of the seem at the wing area and glue new wing in place. Be sure to give your wing plenty of room to Flap. Put wing on it farthest stroke down and glue to body. If you don' t feel comfortable gluing on a new wing. Send your decoy back and we will do it for you. The price will be $15 and shipping. This includes the wing. If submersed or plastic Drive parts break, the factory will replace the complete drive Assembly at cost. Send the whole decoy to the factory and a complete drive assembly with wings will be installed for $25, plus shipping.
